The 2178 series is made of a tough chemical-resistant material with a tight gasket seal that can stand the most severe conditions of moisture, vibration and temperature. Ideal for outside plant, underground, aerial, pedestal, and direct burial applications. Splice trays and inserts are sold separately.

Branch or lateral cables can be added to any one of four compression seal entry ports. Multiple cables can also be installed utilizing multi-port grommets available for these closures.
